Art is the desire of a man to express himself, to record the reactions of his personality to the world he lives in.  ~Amy Lowell

Expressing myself? Oh, yeah. I'm all over le artistic expressions, darlinks. That's why you can often find me elbows-deep into a DIY, working on an outfit, a house, a graphic design, a photography collection, a recipe, or even a hairstyle.

In no particular order of importance. I take 'em as they come.

As time marches on and I log in more blogging hours, you're going to see some of those random projects pop up around here. So nice of me to share, right? *ahem* It's just the nature of the bloggy beast, though. [The beast is a puppy, I've decided. Sweet and adorable with REALLY SHARP TEETH that cut away at your patience when you're, oh, say, modifying something important on your blog. I'm just sayin'.]

Before you start to wonder [if you haven't already, that is] where I get some of my inspirations, I'm going to give you my #1 resource pick for each category below. I'll be adding more resources as time goes by, but for now, this is as good as it gets.

'Til, you know, I add more. =) So check back!

Ana White's Knockoffwood. DEFINITELY. I cannot tell you how awesome this site is, you're just gonna have to check it out yourself.

Currently loving Bakerella, which is, of course, the last blog I should be dwelling on. ;) I can't help it, though - since I have allrecipes for a bestie [their app is a lovely thing.] I can dream about things like cake pops ALL I WANT. =)

Pixels & Ice Cream inspired my current layout. I LOVE that they have free PS brushes, too. So nice of them to share, yes?

Love, Maegan. Great eye for outfit coordination and blending styles. You can find references to her on le blog, too, 'cause my fashion sense gave me a serious side-eye when I found her page. Gotta love it!

Kandee Johnson. Hands down my favorite - check out the YouTubes for her tutorials, 'cause they kind of really rock.

P.S. I made this - Um, LOVE THIS SITE. I like to pretend I'm crafty, but there is no way I could do with an old hair roller and a piece of string what this gal can do. #1 fan here, for real.
