I'm working on a bigger, expanded portfolio of my work, but for now, I'm hosted at the [easy, free, and pretty much awesome] Behance network.

I've been involved with graphic design since I was a teenager; an unwavering affection for all things art led me to play around with my first designs [at the tender young age of 14] which were admittedly lacking in the skills department and created using PhotoDeluxe, a free-with-every-printer-purchase 'lite' version of PhotoShop. Because I was a PRO, y'all.

Thankfully, no one crushed the artsy dreams of a girl with too much computer time and a lot of hope and not so much patience, and I started creating graphics for my church and later for non-profit endeavors associated with it.

From there, it was more church work, on a bigger, multi-state scale. Then it was small businesses and bigger non-profits and eventually, as my career began to take a sharp turn towards marketing and management strategic consulting, larger corporations.

I'm never sure if I'll make graphic design my permanent address. As much as I love designing and will never stop as long as there are still layers to be manipulated, my interest in the psychology of marketing [and incidentally, my Bachelor's degree] tends to lead me into an area that combines a love of the art with a passion for the mechanics of it all.

Most of all, I'm committed to my family first. I'm a new wife, a daughter, sister, auntie, and friend, and I don't want to confuse my priorities.

That being said, I'm open to any requests for graphic work and will work to fit your design needs into my schedule. So if you're interested, I'm your girl! =)
